About Me
I am an Electrical and Computer Engineering undergraduate at Seoul National University, exploring quantum computing, artificial intelligence, and quantum simulation. My work connects learning-based algorithms with physical quantum systems: generative circuit synthesis, adaptive measurements, neutral atoms, and superconducting hardware.
Vision & Goals
My goal is to develop quantum computational methods for physical simulation problems beyond the reach of classical computers. Useful quantum computation emerges when algorithms, hardware constraints, and physical implementation are designed together. I use AI to navigate complex design spaces, guided by physical understanding.
- Learning-based quantum compilers: Connect simulation algorithms with executable circuits, balancing fidelity, circuit depth, and compilation time.
- Hardware-aware architectures: Explore compilation for three-dimensional atom arrays and fault-tolerant methods that account for restricted movement and stochastic loss.
- Control, measurement, and physical insight: Improve how quantum information is delivered, protected, and read out, from adaptive measurements to superconducting RF components.
I aspire to become an independent scholar and professor who brings AI to quantum computing with rigor and purpose. Ultimately, I hope to help make quantum computers practical tools for revealing and simulating the quantum nature of physical systems.

- Applied Superconductivity Lab, SNU — Research intern, Sep. 2026–Present. Adviser: Prof. Seungyong Han.
- Electromagnetic and thermal simulations of superconducting RF components for qubit control and readout, including resonators, transmission lines, and Purcell filters.
- Experimental Quantum Engineering Lab, ETH Zürich — Semester project, Feb.–Aug. 2026. Adviser: Prof. Wenchao Xu.
- Hardware-aware reinforcement learning for neutral Rubidium and Ytterbium atom rearrangement using acousto-optic deflectors. Research conducted at PSI; oral presentation at JSAP 2026.
- Cognitive Machine Learning Lab, SNU — Research intern, Jan. 2025–Jan. 2026. Adviser: Prof. Jungwoo Lee.
- Developed QFlowNet for generative unitary synthesis and CASH for adaptive Pauli measurement selection. QFlowNet was presented at IEEE QCNC 2026; CASH has been submitted to IEEE QCNC 2027.

- Proposed a curriculum-learning model for finding an ansatz to estimate the lowest energy of a Hamiltonian.
